We’ll be in touch at least once a week throughout the project via email or quick questions via WhatsApp. For key decisions, we might hop on a Zoom call, as it is a more personalized form of communication.

The Branding & Website Package is designed to take about 3-4 months from start to finish.

A website project is a co-creation, and we do need your commitment once we get started together. We have a fixed timeframe that we both agree upon from the very beginning. When the project exceeds the discussed timeframe, we would need to discuss additional payment.

For most of my clients, this is not necessary. When in the past, the timeframe couldn’t be met, it was because clients shifted their priorities.

But don’t worry, I am here to support you during the whole process!

It depends on whether you need a website that can be built on your already established brand identity or if we need to add brand design. You can check out our WEB DESIGN PACKAGE and our BRAND & WEB DESIGN PACKAGE.

From experience, we know that if you are just starting out, chances are high that your business will evolve over time more than you can imagine right now. Spending thousands of dollars or euros on branding and web design that most probably will change anyway is not a clever investment. That’s why I recommend simplifying. If you just start your business, please let us know and together we’ll find the best solution.

Clients in the European Union and Mexico pay through bank transfer. For other locations, we usually use Wise (or sometimes PayPal).

Before the start date of your project, an advance payment of 50% is due. If you want to book a certain date in my schedule, you’ll pay 25% as a non-refundable deposit to reserve the spot and another 25% by the start date. The remaining 50% is due before your new website goes live.

Yes, there are additional costs for your domain name and hosting service.

A domain name is the name you type in to find your website (e.g.,marcelladetapia.com, brandingforcreatives.com).

We recommend clients purchase domains under their own names and keep control of them, then allow us access to set things up. Please speak to us first before purchasing the domain! We can recommend you a few domain name providers, and it’s also to prevent them from selling you a lot more than you need. The price of a domain name is around $10-30 (US Dollars) a year, and it has to be renewed yearly (or paid in advance for several years).

A hosting service is the online space where your website lives and is made available online 24 hours a day. There are several companies out there offering hosting and domains, some of which do not have the required quality. Therefore, we recommend speaking to us before you purchase anything so we can offer our advice and recommendations. Extra costs may arise if you are using one that is not good or one that we are not familiar with. The reason for this is that it takes a lot more time to get things done and also tends to cause more problems with maintenance and support (due to slow speeds, email problems arising, not updating to the latest software, etc.).

In addition, I highly recommend investing in professional brand photography as it makes a huge difference visually and it helps to bring your personality into the project.

Some clients also prefer to have their texts written by a copywriter. Usually, this is not necessary unless you don’t have the time to do your own writing or you don’t feel comfortable with it.

All our websites are built using WordPress and the Divi Builder. WordPress is easy to use so that you can learn to do the basic things, such as updating your blog or changing a bit of text on your own. WordPress is also flexible and scalable, so you are not restricted when you need some extra functionality for the site.
